The Bracks Goverment today announced agreement wiht TXU to make reticulated natural gas available to seven towns int he Macdeon region - signalling the beginning of the biggest natural gas rollout in provincial Victoria since the 1970s. The Minister for State and Regional Development, John Brumby, said under the agreement natural gas would be rolled out to Gisborne, New Gisborne, Woodend, Romsey, Lancefield, Riddells Creek and Macedon.
