Joseph heads his own plumbing business, Sunworks Eco Plumbing, and was tonight awarded the Green Plumber of The Year at the Master Plumbers 21st Gala Dinner at The Grand Hyatt.
The award is sponsored by Incolink, the Victorian Building and Construction Industry Redundancy Fund.
Three other awards presented on the night went to:
Better H20 Management from Carrum Downs was awarded the Green Plumbers Water Efficient Product of the year with its Aquasource product, a combined rainwater storage and toilet flushing system.
Edwards Hotwaterfrom Western Australia was awarded the Green Plumbers Energy Efficient Product of the Year for the Comfort product, a gas boosted solar hot water system.
And the Green Plumbers Product of the Year 2003 was awarded to The ZIP Flush Master by Zip Industries for their touch free toilet flushing system which controls the amount of water use for flushing and the time of flushing automatically.
Rheem Australia received the Judges’ Innovation and New Technology Award for its’ new air sourced heat pump hot water system, and a highly commended award for water efficiency Water Save Australia from New South Wales was recognised for their Uridan Waterless Urinal.
