NSW
Mandatory Water Restrictions
Level 3 mandatory
water restrictions apply across Sydney, Illawarra and the Blue Mountains from 1
June 2005.
From 1 July 2005 a $220 fine will apply for all breaches of Level
3 restrictions by residential customers.
The Water Restrictions Patrol will
be carrying out random audits to ensure compliance with the new exemption
conditions.

QLD
Current
residential water restrictions
These water restrictions apply from Saturday
14 May 2005. These restrictions will stay in place until further notice.
A
$75 fine will apply if you contravene a water restriction.
This penalty is
applicable under the State Penalties Enforcement Regulation 2000, which is part
of the Water Act 2000 Section 389(3).
