- allows you to make a quick comparison of different models' energy efficiency.
- the more stars the more energy efficient the appliance

- provides an estimated annual energy consumption of the appliance

Gas - Energy Rating

The gas energy rating label:

- allows you to make a quick comparison of different models' energy efficiency when comparing appliances of the same type.
- the more stars, the more energy efficient the appliance.
- provides an estimated annual energy consumption of the appliance.

- gas water heaters
- gas room (space) heaters
- gas ducted heaters

Top Energy Saver Award Winner 

About the label

- The Top Energy Saver Award Winner label is an endorsement label.  Among all energy rated appliances, it recognises the most energy efficient products on the market.
- It applies to both electric and gas appliances that carry an energy rating label.
- If an appliance has a Top Energy Saver Award Winner label, you can be sure it is one of the most energy efficient in its class.

- air conditioners

About the label

- Energy Star recognises the most energy efficient office equipment and home entertainment products.
- Buying Energy Star rated equipment, and making sure its energy-saving features are enabled, will save you both energy and money.
- Energy Star rated products have low standby power consumption - this is the power that many products consume when switched off at the appliance but still plugged into a power point.
