Green Plumber Training & Accreditation

MPMSAA provides the nationally accredited Course in Green Plumbers Environmental Solutions (21596VIC) for licensed/registered plumbers.

The Green Plumbers® training program is designed to assist plumbers in understanding their role in relation to environmental & public health, and to provide their customers with up to date information and advise on:

  • latest technology and energy saving appliances
  • practical appliances & installation knowledge
  • environmental impacts of plumbing services, appliances and household practices
  • consumer information
  • energy/water/cost savings (short term and long term cost comparisons and environmental benefits)


This course is comprised of 9 units of study:

Core Units

Climate Care (8 Hours)

Caring for our Water (8 Hours)

Solar Hot Water (6 Hours)

Inspection Reports (4 Hours)

Water Efficient Technology (8 Hours)


Elective units

Commercial Hot Water (8 Hours)

Principles in Pumps (8 Hours)

Natural Wastewater Design and Treatment (8 Hours)

Principles in Urban Irrigation (8 Hours)
